The Mad Men actress discussed her true feelings for her ex-husband Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen in Page Six magazine.  Her exact words,

“It’s so hard to talk about, one of the great things I heard someone say about him is, ‘He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.’ To me, that sums it up.”

The actress vented and then claimed that was all she would say on the subject of her ex.  No one really knows if she was speaking ill of Fred to warn other women or if she was just ready to get it off her chest and move on.  Let’s hope he doesn’t retaliate or this could get really ugly.

Deion Sanders – $200 Million Reasons to Divorce

Deion’s estranged wife Pilar has filed suit against Deion and his daughter Deiondra in the amount of $200 million claiming “emotional weapons” including humiliation, intimidation, and threats.  Deiondra had a twitter outburst and her Daddy took to the radio to call his ex really nasty names.  This is really getting messy and before the documents are signed the madness will get worse.

I heard something recently that resonated with me: “what I love about my age is the peacefulness” particularly poignant for me at this point in my single life is the fact that I don’t feel like I have to be married to be happy.  Without a doubt, I have always considered marriage an option, but I have not found a partner willing to do the pre-work.  I look at the dating process as pre-work.  This is where many people get significant signs if they are headed for bliss or disappointment.

I decided to start my business in an attempt to teach other singles the value and enjoyment of a fulfilling social/dating life.  When you fall-in-love with someone sometimes it’s hard to look at the situation in a realistic perspective.  I hope more than anything that my clients can look back at their failed relationships and respect the choices they made.  Even the misguided ones and understand the reasons why the relationship failed and then make wise decisions.   Remember, not everyone you date is meant to be your spouse.

As busy people rushing from one responsibility to the next, we have to remember not to let our hearts lead us blindly into a bad relationship.  When I hear people talk about a new love interest, they are so caught up in the moment that they speak of the good and refuse to acknowledge the bad.  Love has two faces – Reality/Fantasy.  More often than not, people focus on the fantasy, and ignore the price they will have to pay for it.  Instead, listen to your intuition, clear your mind of the hugs and kisses, and savor the dating process for what it is intended to be -- the best tool for cultivating great relationships and weeding out the bad ones!

Being a certain age myself, I enjoy the dating process - - the good, the bad, and the simply crazy.  Was she merely trying to avoid the dating landscape and walk into marital bliss?  While it’s possible to meet your potential spouse on the first date, it’s a long shot.  Planning the marriage before the date has even taken place is setting yourself  and the other person up for disappointment.  Lusting for marriage-ready mates is not the answer when you have experienced a lifetime’s worth of failed relationships.  If you rush through the process of dating, you may find yourself in a bad relationship.

v  Lying - - It goes without saying that you can find out anything you want about a person you are interested in. Google is better than the FBI, CIA, and is wonderful for running background checks on people.  So be honest with people.  Also, posting out-of-date pictures is lying.
