Relationship Utopia

Is there such a thing as the perfect relationship?  Do you have to be married to have it?  Do you have to be committed to enjoy it?  Do you have to live in the same house?  Do you even have to meet to be considered a couple?  We play by the rules when it comes to our professional lives, but should we do the same in our personal lives?   You read about them, dream about them, but do you have a relationship that is emotionally and physically satisfying?   If not, what’s involved in getting to that point?
As people we lack authenticity in our personal relationships.  We can create a persona that is nothing like who we truly are.  We commit a lot of time and energy in trying to be people we are not.   We now have multiples ways to communicate with each other.  If so desired you could cultivate an intimate relationship via Instagram, Twitter,  or Facebook.
Sharing a home, engaging in sex, getting married, having children does not guarantee relationship utopia.   In my opinion healthy happy intimate relationships consist of three parts; a sense of adventure, an honest emotional and sexual connection, and communication.
